A Night Under The Stars
Blue Tree Project is the powering partner behind this unique event held in regional areas. The event has since raised over $100,000 for regional mental health initiatives. Visit the A Night Under The Stars website here.
School Mural Project
Utilising art in schools to stir conversation on mental health. In partnership with Higgins Coatings, this project included their generous contribution of equipment needed across 4 schools in Western Australia. Kendall Whyte, CEO of Blue Tree Project visited the schools to share more on keeping mentally well.
Australian of the Year Awards
We have been given a voice and we plan on using it. Kendall Whyte, CEO of Blue Tree Project was awarded the 2022 Young Australian of the Year for WA. Through this platform, Kendall has been able to help spread the project's mission and cause worldwide.
Mining Emergency Response Competition (MERC)
Blue Tree Project has been the charity partner of MERC since 2020. Their funding has allowed us to visit regional mining communities and schools, host key speaking events and contribute to community tree painting days.
Fortescue Mental Health Roadshow
Fortescue Metals Group are dedicated to changing mental health matters in the resources sector. On this roadshow, CEO Kendall Whyte visited 6 FMG sites to hold key note sessions. Many participants reached out to the internal support services.
Raising The Vibe
Raising The Vibe is a free music and well-being festival that aims to educate our youth on the support services available. Held at the Busselton Foreshore annually during Mental Health Week, the festival includes a well-being hub and resources. We welcome talented WA artists to the stage and encourage all ages to join the fun!
CEO and Founder
Our driving force behind the Blue Tree Project, Kendall shares her passion for mental health support which has been her legacy for her brother Jayden. After leaving her role at Seven West Media as a video editor, she put her studies on hold to pursue Blue Tree Project full-time. Her work with the project has seen her named 2022 Young Australian of the Year, and Young West Australian of the Year for 2021. Kendall was also nominated as a finalist for Agrifutures Rural Women’s Award and 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards of 2020.
